Inglorious Basterds

Dieses kurze Video der IB Pressekonferenz, was Jeffrey Wells hoch geladen hat fördert meine Vorfreude doch ungemein. Und wirft Fragen auf: Warum zieht sich Brad Pitt immer an wie ein Pimp? Und wie süß sehen bitteschön Christoph Waltz und Daniel Brühl da zwischen Laurent und Pitt gequetscht aus. Ich freu mich total drauf Waltz in Basterds zu sehen. [Einwurf aus der Zukunft: Michael Fassbender: Ich kannte ihn damals nicht, aber wenn ich aus der Zukunft auf den youtube-Clip schaue, dann fällt vor allem er mir auf.  War diese Kellerbarszene in Inglorious Basterds nicht unfassbar gut?]

Zum Thema Planet, Film und Cannes hat Tarantino via Hollywood Elsewhere etwas Schönes zu sagen:

"And all of the world's film press from the planet earth -- America, England, Iceland, Greenland...they're all here. Bam, at once. Everyone here at the exact same time. They argue and they jostle and do this and do that, and it's like the cat is out of the bag for the entire planet earth. And I'm down with that. I am not an American filmmaker -- I make movies for the planet earth, and Cannes is the place [for that to happen]."
